Agility is the mainstay of small and midsize businesses. What smaller enterprises lack in funds, they make up for in their ability to quickly adapt to changing trends. Today, with online retail sales showing steady double-digit growth in the U.S. and Europe, businesses of all sizes must make online presence a priority. But SAP Business All-in-One customers can breathe easy. SAP recently partnered with ePages to integrate an e-commerce solution into the business management suite for small and mid-sized companies.

SAP worked with ePages before, in 2010, to integrate an e-commerce solution into SAP Business One solutions. Now, SAP Business All-in-One solutions, which are more comprehensive than Business One solutions and intended for midsize companies, also profit from the added webshop functionality. The webshop is developed by ePages and hosted in the cloud. SAP partner HONICON eBusiness enables the integration of the e-commerce solution into SAP Business All-in-One solutions in the back end so that online orders are processed alongside traditional sales channels for one unified overview of orders.

The ePages webshop enables many types of business in diverse industries to expand their online presence. Retail companies can sell their products online to reach more customers. And companies in industries like Utilities or Transportation & Travel can use the ePages booking system to allow customers to book services or rent and reserve products online.

The e-commerce system integrates with Amazon, eBay, and popular search engines to ensure the webshop is easy to find for existing customers and highly visible to attract new customers. Common payment methods, like PayPal, are also integrated in the ePages webshop. In addition, various marketing tools are included, for example: cross-selling, discounts and coupons, customer forums, and product portals.

Choosing the right webshop

Business All-in-One customers in the U.S. and Western Europe can choose from two webshop packages: ePages BASE for SAP Business All-in-One and ePages FLEX for SAP Business All-in-One. Both packages include hosting in the cloud, integration with SAP back end, support, and updates and upgrades through application management. Where the webshops differ is in their scope.

The BASE version can sell up to 10,000 products in up to 1,000 pages or categories and provides 1,000 Megabytes of space for the shop gallery, excluding images. There is a limit of 30 delivery methods and companies can simultaneously enable only three of the 13 languages available. This version costs $539USD per month (399€ per month).

The FLEX version can sell up to 200,000 products in up to 2,000 pages or categories and provides 2,000 Megabytes of space for the shop gallery, excluding images. There is a limit of 1,000 delivery methods and companies can simultaneously enable all 13 languages. They are: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Catalan, Russian, Portuguese, Finnish, Norwegian, and Danish. This version costs $949USD per month (699€ per month).

After deciding which webshop package best suits their needs, Business All-in-One customers can book it through ePages. They will receive an email from ePages within 48 hours containing the access data to their online store. Businesses can design the webshop themselves or use ePages Design & Consult services. The IntegrationMan connector from HONICO eBusiness is installed parallel to the shop. Companies will receive a link to start the setup wizard for integration between the webshop and the SAP ERP system. Some settings must be configured on the ERP end; companies should consult their SAP partner for guidance.
