SAP Canada recognized as Aon Platinum Level Best Employer in Canada

TORONTO, Canada – 10 Nov , 2016 – SAP Canada has been recognized as a Platinum Level Aon Best Employer in the 18th edition of Aon Hewitt’s annual Best Employers in Canada Study.

The Aon Best Employers in Canada Study is a benchmark for assessing the quality and performance of workplace excellence using global standards based on 20 years of findings from Aon studies conducted all over the world. Recognized organizations have achieved outstanding results among their Canadian counterparts in four areas: engaging employees, demonstrating effective leadership, building a performance culture and using the strength of their employer brand.

Reaching ‘Platinum Level’ Aon Best Employer status in Canada requires top 20% performance in at least three of these four areas. As a Platinum Level Aon Best Employer, SAP Canada is now part of a group of 39 large Canada-based organizations that have achieved Platinum or Gold Level status.

As part of Aon Hewitt’s study, more than 800 SAP Canada employees completed a survey on their feelings about working for the company:

  • 87% said they would not hesiate to recommend SAP Canada to a friend seeking employment, and 87% said they are proud to be part of the organization.
  • 84% said SAP Canada is one of the best places to work for someone with their skills and experience, while 81% said the company strongly supports employee learning and development.
  • 84% agreed SAP Canada’s leadership team makes good business decisions, provides a clear direction and makes employees feel positive about the future.
  • 92% said SAP Canada is a socially and environmentally responsible organization, while 84% said the company has an excellent reputation in the local community.
