Doug Freud Global HANA Center of Excellence, SAP
Doug Freud is an executive with over 25 years of experience in solving business problems implementing Predictive Analytics and Data Mining with Big Data. Doug started at SPSS (now IBM), and focused on using statistical technique to solve sales, marketing, and public sector challenges.
In the late 1990’s, he fully embraced implementing Machine Learning and Text Mining based solutions. After leaving SPSS, he went to work at Oracle, Clarabridge (a customer experience-focused startup), and KXEN (acquired by SAP in 2013) in business development professional service roles.
At SAP Doug works within the Global HANA Center of Excellence, helping customers figure out how to implement Data Science with Big Data to create systems of innovation.
Doug has spoken at a variety of conferences (e.g. Teradata Partners, American Statistical Association, NRF 2016), and has served as a part time mentor for Data Science for Social Good.
