IDS Scheer Announces Migration Program to ARIS Platform

April 17, 2007 by admin

This initiative has been established to meet a broad market demand. Available now, the first solution in this program is a one-way interface from Telelogic System Architect to IDS Scheer’s ARIS Business Architect 7.02 based on XML. For the migration, all system architect model types will be mapped into the corresponding ARIS model types. The offering is comprised of a one to two-day service to migrate process, data and organizational models. Other interface solutions to be released throughout 2007 are designed for migrations from Proforma, Casewise and iGrafx.
IDS Scheer has positioned the ARIS Platform as the only Business Process Management (BPM) solution to deliver on “Open BPM,” a strategy and approach to embrace industry and technology standards to successfully manage business processes and execute on Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
“Our migration program corresponds with our ‘Open BPM’ strategy and demonstrates the flexibility of our process platform to help customers seek enterprise-wide modeling and business process management solutions that are comprehensive and scalable, without having to maintain several niche applications for specific projects,” said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer, IDS Scheer Group. “This offering will enable companies to migrate specific models and data to the number one BPM suite in the market. They will have the opportunity to easily embrace an enterprise-wide process knowledge asset with no impact in productivity.”
