SAP cofounder Hasso Plattner is setting his stock in enabling iPhones and iPads to access SAP software, including both SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Business Suite. He’s also a believer in storing data in-memory, which is the only way to make fast queries and real-time processing possible. SAP.info reported live from Plattner’s presentation at SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando, Florida.
Thanks to a free iPhone app, you can now use your smartphone to access and process data from SAP Business Suite and SAP CRM. The app is aimed primarily at sales reps and field service employees who work for large companies.
