iT_SEC SWiSS AG Attracts Dr. Sachar Paulus as Chairman

iT_SEC SWiSS AG has added another highly qualified member to its advisory board, Dr. Sachar Paulus, Chief Security Officer of SAP AG. Dr. Paulus will take the chair of the advisory board at iT_SEC SWiSS AG. Dr. Paulus, who is currently responsible for all security concerns at SAP, has many years of experience in IT Security. Prior to taking up his position at SAP AG in 2000, he built up sales at SECUDE and was in charge of the cryptographic consultancy for the developers. From 1998 to 1999, Paulus worked as a Product Manager and Management Assistant for a chip card manufacturer.
Between 1988 and 1996, Dr. Paulus studied Computer Science at Saarland University, and at the University of Essen, where he obtained his PhD in Mathematics. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a research assistant at the Darmstadt University of Technology. There he lectured, gave seminars and was responsible for the establishment of the research area „Elliptic Curves“ with Professor Buchmann. “The way iT_SEC SWiSS has advanced its subsidiary, SECUDE, technologically and strategically over the past two years is remarkable“, says Dr. Paulus. „I am looking forward to advising iT_SEC SWiSS AG and its subsidiaries in their extensive growth strategy. “
