Egyptian Steel signed an agreement with enterprise software company SAP to guide its expansion plans and support talent development.

Egyptian Steel will deploy SAP Success Factors, one of the latest and most advanced talent management solutions. As a result, Egyptian Steel will have a comprehensive view of employee skills, and support human resources management innovation for enhancing business.

Ahmed Abou Hashima, Chairman and CEO, Egyptian Steel, and Amr Ghoneim, Managing Director, SAP North Africa and Levant, signed the agreement at Egyptian Steel’s Cairo headquarters.

“Because of Egyptian Steel’s expansion, an increase in the number of our staff, as well as our firm belief that our employees are our most valued assets and that investing in our human resources is no less important than investing in manufacturing. Therefore we implemented a comprehensive and integrated solution to facilitate human resources management and more importantly be of great benefit to the employees themselves,” said Amr El Hamalawy, Vice President of Corporate services at Egyptian Steel.

“This agreement not only underscores the importance Egyptian Steel assigns to continually enhance its employees’ skills but also its persistence to identifying and implementing the latest technologies and best practices.
