More Mobile Apps Challenges, More Opportunities for Partners to Win Big!

Less than a year ago SAP launched the SAP Mobile Apps Partner program to enable developers and partners to build mobile apps leveraging the SAP Mobile Platform and make these mobile apps available to our 230,000 customers and millions of users via the enterprise-ready SAP Store. In less than a year, this new and vibrant ecosystem has grown to nearly 200 partners in the program.

We anticipate that number to continue to grow as we further turn to the SAP ecosystem to deliver mobile apps for customers as a core part of our mobile strategy, especially as many of SAP’s core industries are fueling the need for apps that are laser focused on addressing specific use cases and scenarios.

SAP 2013 Industry Mobile Apps Challenges
In this spirit, and to meet the needs of our customers in three of our key industries, we have launched Industry Mobile Apps Challenges for Retail, Wholesale Distribution and Transportation and Logistics. Each Mobile Apps Challenge is open to existing SAP mobile apps partners as well as any prospective partners in the form of developers or independent software vendors looking to expand their current business and have the opportunity to win monetary rewards and valuable marketing exposure.

The winner of each SAP Industry Mobile Apps Challenge will be awarded EUR10,000 and each finalist will be awarded EUR3,000.
