Fujitsu Supports SAP BusinessObjects Explorer

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software becomes even faster with a new IT infrastructure solution. The hardware package from Fujitsu combines blade servers from the PRIMERGY BX620 S5 product family with Celerra NS storage systems from EMC to create a dynamic infrastructure. Because the individual components are harmonized, SAP BusinessObjects Explorer can be implemented particularly fast – slashing installation time and the associated costs. What’s more, customers can scale the Fujitsu IT infrastructure to meet their needs. As a result, business intelligence applications can be enhanced quickly and simply as required.

Furthermore, with SolutionContract, Fujitsu offers SAP users a comprehensive service package that comprises not only consulting for system integration, but also extensive maintenance services.

The WEB-Client Edition enables several computers operating on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux to be integrated. With the Standard Edition and the Rapid Deployment Edition from SECUDE Secure Login, SECUDE provides a solution for SAP NetWeaver that enables users to log on just once and then access all SAP systems according to their individual authorizations. Data transfer within the network is encrypted to protect data from unauthorized access. The authentication mechanism is also flexible, with support for Microsoft ADS, RSA SecurID, SAP ID, LDAP, RADIUS, and JAAS.

Melchers Translates SAP Custom Developments with SNP Dragoman

International trading company Melchers has implemented SNP Dragoman to translate its SAP custom developments faster and more easily. At the end of the project, the software will have been translated into up to ten target languages. The solution makes the Customizing texts available to the translators offline and imports them into the SAP system once they have been translated. Because the translators no longer need to work directly in the SAP program, Melchers is saving on time-consuming training and authorizations. What’s more, there are now fewer errors caused by incorrect use. As a result, SNP Dragoman helps speed up the company’s projects.
