Ferdinand Bilstein Connects 130 Countries

Global manufacturer of automotive spare parts Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH is currently implementing “it.trade” – an industry solution from IT service provider itelligence. Based on SAP Business All-in-One, the solution is specially designed for distributors. From 2010, the company anticipates around 550 of its employees will be working with the new ERP system.

Ferdinand Bilstein is an international market leader in the replacement parts sector. With around 70 sales offices worldwide, the company offers over 20,000 types of spare parts to customers in 130 countries.

Construction Materials Specialist Builds on SAP ERP

German building materials manufacturer m-tec put SAP Business All-in-One to work at its global locations. The three–step implementation was supported by SAP partner Steeb Anwendungssysteme GmbH.

The first phase brought SAP Business All-in-One to Germany and the Czech Republic, followed by a second implementation at Steeb’s international subsidiaries in Spain and the UK. The third and final step took the SAP solution all the way to Shanghai, China.

BTC Announces Outsourcing Spin-Off

BTC Business Technology Consulting AG has launched a spin-off company based on its existing business unit for systems management. Responsible for IT outsourcing and services, the department has seen continual growth in recent years.

According to CEO Bülent Uzuner, creating a separate subsidiary will help BTC to increase its market agility and focus more on customer needs. The new company will be known as BTC IT Services GmbH.
