Aral Direkt Optimizes Sales

Aral Direkt, a subsidiary of Deutsche BP, is set to master future logistics challenges with the SAP Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution packaged solution. Within a year, the Implico Group implemented the industry-specific application in close cooperation with Aral and set it up at hosting service provider Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).

Aral Direkt supplies major customers with petroleum products and lubricants. Every year, the company sells around four million cubic meters of fuels and some 10,000 metric tons of lubricants.

Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Centralizes Payment Transactions

Thanks to ebXchange, a central platform for payment transactions in SAP systems, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf – the German city of Düsseldorf’s municipal utility company – has optimized its bank communication. The new software from SAP partner Hanse Orga enables employees to process their payment transactions directly from the SAP solution.

Payment runs are automatically uploaded, processed, and sent straight to the bank. Groupwide monitoring ensures that documentation is complete and enables an overview of all cash flows.

Equipped with a new ERP system, medical technology company SIMEON Medical is on course to continue its growth trend of the past few years. SIMEON opted for it.compact hightronics from SAP partner itelligence, an industry solution tailored to the needs of midsize companies in the high-tech sector. This itelligence solution is based on SAP Business All-in-One.

By January 1, 2010, all company divisions are slated to be actively working with the new software.

PLM Integrator from ECS Is Now SAP-Certified

SAP has certified the new PLM Integrator 3.0 from German company ECS Engineering Consulting & Solutions. The PLM-ERP integration solution from the specialists in product lifecycle management (PLM) already runs on SAP NetWeaver Process Integration 7.1. What’s more, it supports the current versions of the PLM systems Teamcenter 2007 Unified Architecture and Teamcenter 8.0 from Siemens PLM Software.

According to ECS, the new PLM Integrator also – and for the first time – enables load balancing in high-availability clusters.
