Procter & Gamble: Global IT Strategy with SAP

November 13, 2008 by admin

The global enterprise agreement (GEA) includes strategic software developments, software and maintenance, SAP MaxAttention support and high-profile consulting services. P&G has been using SAP solutions for their core business processes such as finance and supply chain management. With the GEA, the company is now focusing on the creation of a global IT strategy.

Here, the development of a scalable, standardized software platform for the company is crucial. The goal is to integrate existing IT systems into this platform and to implement future SAP business solutions globally. The result will be a lower total cost of operations and increased value across P&G’s extended business network.
