SAP Business One at RENOLIT AG

RENOLIT, a manufacturer of high-quality thermoplastic films and products, chose SAP Business One because of the speed of implementation, and because of its cost advantages, according to Daniel Germani, RENOLIT’s CIO. The SAP service provider UNIORG will be supporting the company’s roll-out.

“Our goal is to set up all of our larger non-manufacturing sales affiliates with SAP Business One within the next two years, and to connect them with the two ERP systems in use at the company,” said Germani. The objective is to create a unified solution to simplify and significantly accelerate the numerous processes (including factory orders, direct deliveries to customers, and consolidated reporting) between the sales organizations, production facilities, and headquarters in Worms.

The pilot installation will take place at the French subsidiary because its complex processes were best suited for the creation of a template for the rest of the company. The successive installations of SAP Business One can be rapidly completed with this template as a model. The global roll-out will continue in Poland and Italy.
