SAP Serves Marketing Professionals with Next Wave of SAP CRM On-Demand Solutions

The SAP Marketing on-demand solution includes capabilities for:

  • Campaign management and customer segmentation – allows marketers to analyze customer data easily using advanced queries and creating target groups based on search results to help reach target audiences
  • Lead Management – enables marketing managers to track all important lead information on one overview page, making it easier to update account data, create tasks for follow-up, report on lead status and assign sales teams to help convert more leads into sales opportunities
  • Role maintenance and owner realignment – helps customize the application to the specific needs of the user and ensure business continuity by allowing marketing managers to realign owners for accounts, contacts, opportunities and activities as staffing, organizational and customer needs change

SAP also announced that it is expanding the SAP Sales on-demand solution with new capabilities for pipeline performance management to help better capture and track new and existing business opportunities, lead generation, sales execution and client engagement. These new capabilities allow sales managers to:

  • Assess performance by analyzing current sales pipelines against forecasts and targets
  • Improve decision-making by increasing visibility into the opportunity pipeline
  • Display all relevant information about recent activities, contacts and competitors and trigger subsequent action to address outstanding issues and improve sales performance

The SAP Sales on-demand solution also now features enhancements in the areas of account and opportunity management. SAP CRM on-demand solutions are now available in additional language options, including French, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The announcement represents a continued expansion of SAP’s market-leading application for customer relationship management, mySAP CRM, to include on-demand options to help customers act immediately on pressing business needs and build out the solution strategically as business needs evolve.
SAP CRM on-demand solutions are designed for large and upper-midmarket organizations to manage sales, service and marketing in an easy-to-use solution delivered in a subscription-based licensing model. SAP created the first hybrid CRM solution that transcends on-demand and on-premise deployment models while integrating with core enterprise solutions in both models. With SAP, companies can evolve their CRM solution to align with their unique business needs and customer strategies in ways that go beyond the limitations of today’s narrowly focused on-demand “pure plays.”
