JakartaDharma Polimetal , Indonesia’s manufacturer of metal products including supermarket trolleys, automotive components and wheelchairs, today announced that it is implementing mySAP All-in-One designed for its industry, as part of its strategy to accelerate growth and broaden opportunities in the export market. MySAP All-in-One is a pre-packaged, industry specific version of mySAP Business Suite with built-in content, tools, and methodologies for cost-effective, turnkey implementation which offer out-of-the-box flexibility and the power of SAP’s world-class business solutions for midsized companies. The investment in the mySAP All-in-One project was done for 25 users and integrated modules implemented include Financials (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP).

“Currently the export market only contributes about 10% of our revenue. In about 5 years, we hope to increase this number aggressively to 40%” said Iwan D. Budiyuwono, Vice President Director of the company. “We believe that implementing SAP will help lead us in the right direction to become a world-class company and provide the highest level of service to our customers whilst maintaining competitive rates” .Before implementing SAP, the company relied on an in-house developed system which proved to be too complex to run and too slow in generating the necessary information.

Dharma Polimetal which is based in Balaraja, Tangerang has experienced rapid growth with an ever-expanding market in the last few years. “We have enjoyed success and looking into the future, we would like to have greater success despite market challenges and fierce competition” Iwan explained. “It is important for us to enhance productivity and improve efficiency so we are able to provide the greatest value to customers and optimize our competitiveness amongst both local and global players . This in turn will enable us to confidently expand export markets”.

Dharma Polimetal appointed Metrodata for the implementation which kicked off on the 4th of July 2005 and expected to go-live by early next year.

“With the go-live of SAP in January 2006, we look forward to a see a number of significant improvements and start the year with a bang” concluded Iwan.
