Heiler: Multichannel for the Danish Crown

Danish premium trader Peter Justesen opted for the services of Heiler Software to implement its multichannel strategy. By appointment to the royal Danish court, Peter Justesen supplies international diplomats with exclusive items of all kinds. And thanks to Product Information Management (PIM) from Heiler Software, the company can control product management for all languages and sales channels from one central data source.

Theilgaard Mortensen – a partner of Heiler Software – is responsible for consulting and implementation. The solution creates a central platform and enables end-to-end processes, both for print catalogs and for e-business.

Steeb: Steeb Fix BI at Stabilus

Market leader for gas springs and hydraulic vibration dampers Stabilus, headquartered in Koblenz, Germany, manages its inventory levels with Steeb Fix BI from Steeb Anwendungssysteme, which is headquartered in Abstatt, Germany. Stabilus aims to keep inventory levels and costs low, and make manufacturing more efficient.

Steeb Fix BI is a preconfigured solution for automated reporting, which can also be enhanced with a number of functions at the customer’s request. In addition to standard valuation according to warehouse prices, valuation according to tax prices is also possible. Because MRP controllers are responsible for several warehouses, valuation is also enabled at plant and storage location level.

OpenText: StreamServe Persuasion Version 5

Provider of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions OpenText, headquartered in Waterloo, Canada, announced that version 5 of its OpenText StreamServe Persuasion is now available. The software for customer communication is an extension of OpenText ECM Suite. Persuasion is designed to make document-based communication more efficient while improving the sales approach and customer retention by integrating target-group-specific information.

With Persuasion, OpenText pledges that templates for customer correspondence will be simple to develop and implement, while a reference repository – which can be used on an ad hoc basis – provides call center employees with exact copies of customer documents. Furthermore, the solution gets rid of interim manual steps for time-critical workflows, and supplements OpenText’s Transactional Content Processing (TCP) solution.

All for One Midmarket: All for Machine Rollout

All for One Midmarket, headquartered in Filderstadt-Bernhausen, Germany, is implementing the SAP Business All-in-One industry solution All for Machine, including outsourcing operations, at Belimed. With the new solution, Belimed, a Swiss-headquartered provider of technology-based infection control for hospitals and laboratories, is replacing its ERP systems from BAAN, Brain, and Concorde. After the first project phase, rollout is slated to follow in 10 more countries. The solution is hosted from All for One’s data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Once the project is complete, around 450 users will work with All for Machine. What’s more, All for One’s CRM add-on for machinery and plant engineering and construction, which is based on SAP CRM, will be implemented to support sales staff. The entire IT system is scalable, so that more users can be easily added.

Crossgate: New B2B 360° for WIMA

Munich, Germany-based Crossgate’s solution for electronic data interchange (EDI)  – B2B 360° Services – is taking over business partner communication at the WIMA Group, which is headquartered in Mannheim, Germany. This will give the manufacturer of film capacitors access to Crossgate’s business-ready network from the newly setup SAP ERP system. The transaction platform will be used by more than 40,000 business partners to exchange data. In the future, WIMA will use it to manage the processes for ordering, confirming orders, and billing.

Previously, WIMA used paper-based processing for this part of the business. Thanks to B2B 360° Services, WIMA is now hooked up to the network and instantly enabled for B2B. The data transferred using the platform is translated into a universal meta format, so that data of different formats can be exchanged.

ABAYOO: SAP Business ByDesign for Charité

For the areas of materials management and financial accounting, the Charité Vivantes Laboratory in Berlin, Germany opted for SAP Business ByDesign. The newly founded company in Germany’s capital is slated to become Europe’s biggest hospital laboratory, with 400 full-time employees and 20 million laboratory analyses a year. The implementation partner is ABAYOO Business Network, a Germany-wide network for sales, service, and development of SAP Business ByDesign. The software is designed to ensure smooth operations and efficient laboratory processes at 12 locations.
