The concert began at 9:15 in the evening on May 18, the final day of SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando. Well before show time, thousands of attendees were already in Orlando’s Amway Center  enjoying the free refreshments and festive atmosphere. The concert was presented by SAP together with SAP partner Deloitte.

After a brief introduction, Sting took the stage to loud cheers and whistles. The English musician – and former front man of The Police – played for about an hour and a half and made sure to include crowd favorites like “Roxanne,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” and “Message in a Bottle.” When he played the 1999 hit, “Desert Rose,” Sting even invited the “beautiful ladies in the audience” to join him on stage. The twelve or so women who took him up on his offer received a peck on the cheek for their back-up support.
