Steeb implementing SAP Business ByDesign at GENESIS

Steeb GmbH is currently implementing SAP Business ByDesign for the German subsidiary of the U.S. company GENESIS. A manufacturer of hydraulic accessory equipment, GENESIS opted for this approach after reacquiring its business activities in Asia, Africa, and Europe through an asset deal.

The implementation of SAP Business ByDesign is projected to require eight weeks, which should ensure rapid process support. Meanwhile, GENESIS’s organizational and procedural structures are undergoing a redefinition in which every function is being described based on a catalog of business-related questions.

The processes involved include order entry, customer relationship management, assembly, financials, and accounting.
