SAP and Absoft join forces to deliver solutions to mid-market companies

LondonSmall and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) in Scotland are set to gain from business efficiencies usually associated with large, multinational organisations.

SAP has signed up Aberdeen-based Absoft to offer its mySAP All-in-One solution to Scotland’s 550+ sophisticated SMBs (companies with a turnover of between £25 million and £150 million).

mySAP All-in-One is a pre-packaged offering that has been specifically designed for small and mid-sized organisations that require a high degree of industry-specific functionality, delivered in a cost-effective manner. It opens up opportunities for major business efficiencies through easy access to powerful management information, better systems integration, e-enablement and greater collaboration with customers
and partners.

The solution is based on best practices and industry knowledge built up through SAP’s work with 17,500 organisations in more than 20 different industries. It has been designed for rapid implementation, up to 30% faster and 40% cheaper than
traditional approaches.

“Scotland is making a real name for itself in terms of business success, and technology is playing a key role in making this a reality,” said Frank Park, business development director at Absoft. “SAP’s mySAP All-in-One gives Scottish businesses a real chance to take advantage of world-leading technology in an affordable way, to boost the bottom line and steal a march on the competition.”

“This agreement with Absoft will enable businesses across Scotland to reap the significant business benefits that SAP solutions deliver,” said Tim Osman, head of
mid-market solutions at SAP UK. “We’ve been working with Absoft in one form or another for a decade. During this time, the company has built up an excellent reputation as a provider of high value IT solutions that focus on delivering real business benefits.”
