HR Director To Head Up SAP Education and Training Division

LondonSAP UK: Lisa Clark, who has held the position of HR Director at SAP UK and Ireland since February 2000, has been appointed to the role of Education Services Director. In her new role Lisa will take responsibility for all aspects of SAP’s Education business in the UK and Ireland. Lisa takes the helm from Dave Simonds who moves on to a new role as Director Education Services Operations in the EMEA region.

Lisa will hand her previous responsibilities over to Adrian Farley who will be SAP UK & Ireland’s new HR Director.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for me and the business,” said Lisa. “Traditionally IT training has been purchased as an add-on to our solutions and as such has been the domain of the IT department. We are starting to see this pattern evolve towards more customised training solutions where the HR team are beginning to get involved. Many of our customers see people and performance management as key strategies for their business success. It is not surprising that they are turning to SAP, as a strategic partner, to help manage user performance and effectively leverage their systems capabilities. My focus will be to help customers realise the full potential of the SAP offering, which encompasses our world-leading software, consultancy advice and market leading education services.”
