Professional Services Company Replace Microsoft Dynamics CRM with SaaS CRM Starter Pack

FELTHAM, Middx, UKSAP today announced that De Villiers Walton (DVW), a professional services company that provides consulting, education and custom development for the SAP business suite has gone live in less than two days with the SAP Business ByDesign CRM starter pack.

De Villiers Walton was formed in 2003 by Daneel De Villiers and Darron Walton and now has over 30 years collectively of SAP expertise in the management team. As a growing business, both in the UK and as it enters new geographies, the team at DVW is keen to ensure it has the right technology platform in place to enable this growth and to be successful. DVW has been using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Replicon and Quickbooks, which means that although individually successful, the systems are disparate and do not provide the ability to have one view of the customer or an accurate, full view of information across the entire business.

Daneel De Villiers, Managing Director, DVW, said, “As we expanded into geographies outside of the UK, it became increasingly apparent that we needed to upgrade our technology to ensure we had something in place that is fully-integrated, but also scalable because as a business we want to continue to grow and become even more successful. Having a single view of the customer with the ability to manage our pipeline across multiple geographies is central to that success.”

“We specialize in SAP and have trust in the brand and products so it was the clear choice to speak to SAP about what they recommended for a business like ours. The SAP Business ByDesign solution was a perfect fit because although we wanted a fully integrated suite we wanted to implement it quickly, efficiently and in modules. We began with 10 users on the CRM Starter Pack and will be growing this to 50 users and implementing the entire suite, replacing all three of our disparate solutions over the next 12-18 months. Once this is fully implemented, we will have the visibility of Project Profitability in real-time. This is something we don’t have today,” De Villiers continued.

Ian Anstey, Head of SAP Business ByDesign at SAP UK said, “We are delighted to welcome De Villiers Walton to our Business ByDesign family in the UK, further strengthening our relationship. The speed of deployment was down to two factors; DVW knowing how they want to run the business, ensuring there were no lengthy debates about configuration of the solution and the other was that as DVW was not confident about the quality of their customer data they decided that the sales team would recapture the customer information.”
