SAP NewsbyteThe Meadows Combined School in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe will be getting a much needed revamp with the help of 15 volunteers from global software company SAP.

Meadows Combined School will be celebrating its 100th birthday in 2013 and requires some serious TLC prior to the big day. Volunteers will be working throughout the day to create a more positive learning environment for children at the school. The main task will be to demolish and clear an old outdoor swimming pool in order to install some playground equipment for the children to benefit from. Other jobs will include gardening, painting, installing bike racks and creating outdoor shelters in the playground.

John Antunes who is sponsoring the project on behalf of SAP is enthusiastic about the positive effect that volunteers can have; “SAP is a large organisation but is passionate about contributing to the local community by providing fantastic learning environments and opportunities for children.”
