Views from the C-Suite: Women CEOs

The buzz: Dismal.

What’s dismal?

The percentage of women CEOs is dismal, especially in top companies.

How dismal?

Very. Women are just 4.6% of S&P 500 CEOs and 4.8% of Fortune 500 CEOs (an all-time high, up from 1998).

Game-Changing Women Radio executive producer and SAP CLO Jenny Dearborn is committed to correcting this. “Every day should be International Women’s Day until equality is achieved.”

How can we change this?

By sharing first-hand success secrets and advice – from women who’ve made it to the corner office – with women who are aspiring to break through the ‘glass ceiling’.

Our in-the-trenches panelists will share stories, insights and lessons about how they’ve managed managing and made it to the top.

The experts speak:

Colleen Abdoulah, WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone: “The game of business is very much like the game of tennis. Those who fail to master the basics of serving well, usually lose.” (Source unknown)

Sharon Matthews, eLynx: “’Strategy beats strategy’ every time.” (Sun Tzu quote paraphrase)
