“AC made an early start at looking into the technological basis of NetWeaver and its enterprise services architecture. By using business process management and the exchange infrastructure we can support companies in aligning their business processes to span a range of business units and systems. We employ business intelligence, enterprise portals and management cockpits to structure business information and data in a clear and role-specific manner“, reported Leo Fuchs, the AC Solutions Vienna general manager responsible for Business Intelligence.
A number of client projects have already been successfully completed on this basis, as at austriamicrosystems AG. This semiconductor specialist uses the NetWeaver components Business Information Warehouse (BW) for reporting and analysing its financial data and SAP SEM for consolidating and planning. The systems are operated from within AC-Service’s Outsourcing Service Center. NetWeaver will also play a key role in the further advancement of AC’s proprietary solutions for industrial (ProWork) and service (ProServ/ProTime) companies, as well as for payroll and human resources management (ACCURAT, Combined Payroll).
AC-Service sees this certification as Special Expertise Partner for SAP NetWeaver as yet another step in becoming a full-service provider capable of offering end-to-end, streamlined business-process-oriented solutions in combination with outsourcing and consulting services that extend from providing licenses and integrating software all the way to technology solutions and operating services from its Outsourcing Service Center. Together with its partners, AC-Service will be presenting its wide range of solutions and services at the computer trade shows ITnT 2005 in Vienna (15-17 February, Vienna Exhibition Grounds, Hall C, Booth C 0216), Personal 2005 (Frankfurt, 23-24 February, Hall 1.2, Booth E 04) and CeBIT 2005 in Hannover (10-16 March, Hall 4, Booth D12).
