Introscope for SAP NetWeaver enables customers to further maximize application uptime and performance through end-to-end, real-time visibility into real transactions, helping ensure that applications built on SAP NetWeaver and the SAP Enterprise Portal successfully meet business goals. Introscope for SAP NetWeaver provides customers with the same performance management tools used today by SAP Active Global Support centers.
Siemens Business Services, the commercial business division of Siemens, successfully deployed Wily’s Introscope for the SAP NetWeaver platform to ensure the availability and performance of its SAP NetWeaver-based employee portal and multiple enterprise HR applications. The Siemens Enterprise Portal is one of the largest SAP NetWeaver-based portals in the world, providing critical tools and resources to more than 110,000 employees and business partners every day. Siemens Business Services plans to extend the portal to support more than 150,000 users by the end of 2005. Based in Munich, Germany, Siemens Business Services is an internationally leading IT services firm with worldwide revenues of $6.2 billion (USD) and over 36,000 employees worldwide.
Introscope for SAP NetWeaver is based on proven Wily technology that delivers end-to-end visibility into real transactions – from the browser to connected back-end systems – as they cross today’s complex computing environments. Since January 2005, Introscope has been incorporated into SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics to give SAP Active Global Support centers worldwide real-time visibility into their customers’ applications and to enable rapid isolation of performance issues. With Introscope for SAP NetWeaver, customers now can proactively manage SAP NetWeaver-based applications themselves, provided they have acquired the rights from Wily Technology.
