Today, the Heidelberg District Court accepted the application for interim release with which SAP AG wants to implement the increase in subscribed capital from retained earnings and additional paid-in capital (APIC) before the court order on the action brought by shareholders.
Since today’s decision is not yet legally effective, the increase in subscribed capital cannot be implemented immediately. The shareholders who brought the action can still lodge an appeal against this decision. SAP will provide information on the court proceedings and the expected timing of the implementation of the increase in subscribed capital and issue of the bonus shares as soon as this is foreseeable.
