The online training courses from SAP Education include live access to SAP training systems and help desk support. Compared to the on-site courses SAP Instructor-Led Trainings, they can cost up to 70 percent less. With these cost savings, companies can advance their employees’ skills and stay innovative, even when times are tough.

SAP Education: E-learning Program

In India, SAP Education’s e-learning program began in 2007. Since then, it has awarded more than 4,000 certifications. The program’s success rate is higher than 75 percent, making it even more effective than on-site courses. The current program includes:

  • Access to e-learning content and interactive course material: text, audio, video, snapshots of business processes, simulations, exercises, and evaluations
  • Access to SAP systems, enabling practical exercises and demos in real time directly within SAP systems
  • Help desk support from instructors during courses by means of Web-based chat, discussion forums, and voice-over-IP conversations

The e-learning courses are part of SAP’s certification program. They cover financial accounting, controlling, human resources, procurement, order processing, planning and production, business process integration, ABAP programming, SAP Business All-in-One, and SAP Business One.

“We want to expand our SAP team significantly by the end of the year, which is why we’re looking for a high-quality but still economical training program that will offer our consultants internationally recognized certification,” says Saify Burhani, head of SAP business at Atos Origin India. His company opted for the SAP Education training program. “The courses help us achieve quick wins while saving on travel and the cost of missed opportunities,” Burhani says.

SAP Education’s online courses are available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, China, and Australia. Starting 2009, they will roll out to Europe, North Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
