m.a.x. it implementing SAP Business ByDesign at a fixed price

The consulting firm m.a.x. it is now offering three preconfigured implementation packages starting from €9,900 for SAP Business ByDesign. The offerings are for 10 users or more, and they include integrated e-learning systems to make getting started easier. Having assembled the packages from the functional components of the SAP Business ByDesign suite, m.a.x. it projects an implementation phase of three to eight weeks.

The customer relationship management package is designed to optimize sales automation and serve as the basis for a complete order-to-cash process. The implementation itself costs €9,900, with another €79 due on a monthly basis for each user. The ERP package, meanwhile, covers finances, accounting, and purchasing and is available for an implementation price of €24,900 (plus €133 monthly per user). Finally, small businesses and midsize companies looking to achieve comprehensive organizational management should look into the professional service-provider package (€34,900 for the implementation, plus €133 monthly per user).

In other SAP Business ByDesign news, the August release of Feature Pack 2.5 added a number of new functions to the solution, including mobile device support, real-time analysis, and a customizable rich-client user interface.

Computacenter to outfit German federal authorities with PCs

Computacenter recently concluded a €20 million framework agreement with the procurement department of Germany’s Federal Ministry of the Interior. Over a three-year period, the company will provide all of Germany’s federal authorities with various hardware, including an estimated 25,000 PCs and monitors. In a previous arrangement with the same department, Computacenter delivered server storage products and related services.

CONPLUS holding SAP Business One event

On September 9-10, CONPLUS will be turning its attention to small businesses and midsize companies at a special SAP Business One event. The company plans to showcase the solution’s business utility and technical possibilities through success stories, presentations from experts, live demonstrations, and workshops. Attendees will also be able to take advantage of consulting specifically designed to show them how to run their companies successfully with SAP Business One.

ALPHA: ERP-Software proALPHA

ALPHA Business Solutions AG plans to present itself to the business world at the IT&Business trade show scheduled for October 26-28 in Stuttgart, Germany. In doing so, it will focus on its own ERP software, proALPHA; SAP Business ByDesign; and the mobile business-intelligence tool ABS-Unternehmenscockpit.

While proALPHA was designed to be the ERP system of choice for small businesses and midsize companies in manufacturing and retail, users can implement add-ons to tailor the software to the needs of other industries – mechanical or automotive engineering, for instance. ABS has also added a series of functions to the proALPHA Service Management module, such as smart CTI connectivity and integrated routing. ABS-Unternehmenscockpit, meanwhile, is based on in-memory technology from QlikView and provides an overview of current business figures on a customizable dashboard. Users can also access the tool’s analyses by smartphone while on the go.
