STAS increasing transparency in fashion industry
The SAP BusinessObjects partner STAS GmbH has been working with the retail and logistics specialist SIC GmbH since May 2010. The integrated solution this cooperation has produced – consisting of the BI software STAS CONTROL and the ERP system SICSone/Fashion – is now available for the fashion industry. It is designed to increase transparency in this fast-moving business, where key figures and forecasts are especially important.
The ERP software it includes covers companies’ full fashion portfolios, but not all of their information needs. STAS CONTROL is thus meant to increase the joint solution’s functional scope while minimizing the time and risk involved in its implementation. The two providers plan to continue their collaboration in marketing the solution to SIC’s current customers and other elements of the fashion industry. For example, companies that use a separate ERP solution can also use STAS CONTROL.
