In the future, all of the bike specialist’s business processes – from orders, production, and inventory management to invoicing and controlling – will be handled in SAP Business One. Meanwhile, coresuite eCommerce go from coresystems connects the application to the robust and modern online store PG-Bikes has acquired from ePages, ensuring a high level of effectiveness.
“In coresuite eCommerce go, we have an interface between SAP and ePages that meets our needs perfectly. We can view our SAP data live and in real time on the Web whenever necessary, without having to readjust everything in our online store. That saves us a lot of time and money,” explains Manuel Ostner, CEO of PG Trade & Sales GmbH.
At the new PG-Bikes online store, customers can assemble the bike they want, examine it from every possible angle, and then order it directly from the company. All of the customizable options give cycling enthusiasts more than 13 billion ways (and over 6.5 million electric setups) to put together their ideal bike.
Meanwhile, coresuite mobile interacts with SAP Business One to enhance mobile use. The app makes it possible to access master data and other information in SAP Business One, monitor service calls, record working hours and activities, and display GEO Location functionality on service maps with a mobile device whenever needed. Finally, integrated dashboards round out the functional scope of coresuite mobile as a mobile ERP system by rendering graphical presentations of current key figures.
Since the app stores data from SAP Business One locally, this information is also available offline. This keeps the cost of exchanging and synchronizing data through the coresuite cloud low, even when working abroad.
Currently, coresuite mobile is available for iPhone and laptops; support for further platforms is set to follow soon. The basic package, which includes cloud functionality, costs €9.90 per user each month (plus tax).
