DVV implements new cash management solution from Hanse Orga

From now on, Duisburg, Germany’s utility and transport authority (DVV) plans to use Moneta – a solution provided by Hanse Orga AG for its cash management and liquidity planning. The software enables DVV to include every subsidiary involved in liquidity bundling in its liquidity management. As a result, the authority can govern incoming and outgoing payments and map the internal financing of one or more subsidiaries.

Circle Unlimited brings ECM to ABAKUS

cuSmarText, an independent enterprise content management (ECM) solution from Circle Unlimited AG that supports SAP integration, is now also available for ABAKUS systems. For 10 years, ABAKUS has set the standard in shaping the core activities of business development banks in Germany. The cuSmarText solution, meanwhile, is designed for use in purchasing, sales, human resources, and financial accounting at small businesses and midsize companies.

The link between cuSmarText and ABAKUS enables financial institutions to archive and call up support application documents and written correspondence in an audit-compliant fashion whenever necessary. In addition, they can standardize, customize, and personalize documents for every status and event.

Microsoft Office-based variables from ABAKUS and the SAP standard make this possible, while barcodes on outgoing correspondence facilitate its allocation. A security and authorization system checks every process, and users have the option of using integrated workflow management functions to handle approvals ad hoc based on SAP or in a predefined manner.

ISO Group welcomes FCC into the fold

Since December 1, 2010, A.W. Faber-Castell Consulting (FCC) has been doing business under the new name ISO Professional Services GmbH. This change marked the end of a transitional phase that had begun with the ISO Group’s takeover of the company’s operative business management.

The company’s portfolio and personnel have both remained unaffected: The entity that used to be the IT and organizational department of Faber-Castell is now a certified SAP hosting partner offering consulting services in the field of SAP software.

Cubeware extends free BI front end
The business intelligence software specialist Cubeware has extended the availability of the BI front end Cockpit V6pro FREE LIMITED until December 31, 2010.

The current is based on version 3 of Cubeware Cockpit V6pro and is available as a free download at the company’s website. The software combines the multidimensional databases from various providers and is particularly popular with users of Microsoft and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse.

The latest version of Cubeware’s front end enables even those without any programming skills to conduct analyses, planning, reporting, and dashboard activities. You can also analyze tables with multisectional dimension filters and add calculations to reports as you choose thanks to new form elements. Meanwhile, relational data can be saved directly from within Cockpit V6pro, which makes master data maintenance easier.

ESPRiT chosen among the elite in SRM

Munich, Germany’s ESPRiT Consulting AG has been selected once again for SAP’s special expertise program in the field of SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM).
