SAP SPECTRUM: Business is booming. What’s going on?
Erik Tiden: We have a lot of customers who want to take their businesses to the next level – and to find ways to separate themselves from their competition. They may want to create a new business partner network, gain an edge in customer service, sharpen their differentiation in the marketplace in some way. And there is immediacy to that need – they want it “now.” Even with fantastic products, SAP cannot cover all the business processes that give each customer its own “flavor” of doing business, its unique advantage. That’s where we step in and deliver. This is a rapidly growing market. We are bringing to life more than 300 projects a year.
