SAP today announced the general availability of the 8.0 release of the SAP Transportation Management application. Unveiled in April of this year, the new release significantly expands its scope of logistic and fulfillment management capabilities. First customers around the world, including Abudawood, Artoni, Cargill, C.H.Guenther and Owens Corning, are already deploying the software to improve customer service, reduce logistics costs and better manage complexity and compliance in moving global freight across the supply chain.
