In an interview on Squawk Box on CNBC US, SAP Co-CEO Bill McDermott spoke about growth in software sales and the company’s powerful push into the cloud. He explained SAP’s “big picture” transition to become a business-to-business-to-consumer company, and clarified that revenue is up with cloud revenue in particular growing in triple digits. In the Americas, a third of SAP’s revenue now comes from the cloud, up from zero just three years ago. In Europe, SAP is doing well even in the economically troubled southern countries.
