WALLDORF — SAP AG today announced that ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group (CBG), a business unit of ContiTech AG and one of the world’s leading specialists in rubber and plastics technology, is implementing the SAP Cloud for Sales solution to engage its customers like never before. Using SAP Cloud for Sales, ContiTech CBG can deliver rich data and insights that empower its sales team to connect with customers anywhere, anytime, on any device and deliver a differentiated experience.
The CBG business unit of ContiTech concentrates on conveyor-belt technology solutions and advises customers all over the world. With many of its customers operating in remote locations, CBG’s sales force must be able to connect to back-office applications via mobile devices. And to ensure flawless execution of its global sales processes, the company also needs a flexible cloud solution to which it can link seamlessly and extend its existing processes, platforms and mobile architectures.
