Where might you go to meet other SAP customers from across the UK and Ireland to find out how they are maximizing their SAP investments? Or to discover which technologies they are evaluating for the future of their businesses? Or even to get firsthand insights from SAP experts about emerging technologies and what they could mean for you?

If you are an SAP customer in the UK or Ireland, you won’t want to miss out on the annual conference of the UK & Ireland SAP User Group – so register now! The event is being held next week in the city of Birmingham.

UKISUG: Knowing what you need for tomorrow’s world

The UK & Ireland SAP User Conference 2013 is the premier event for the UK & Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG). And it is the only event in the region that is designed by users for users – which means you can expect to hear an honest and open exchange about the impact SAP software is having in real businesses. This year’s theme is “Tomorrow’s World”. Craig Dale, CEO of the UK&I User Group, explains what’s behind this message, “It’s about creating the future together and preparing organizations for the change they will surely face in the next 3-5 years.”

The conference program contains 16 tracks covering key technologies, concepts, and industries to help SAP users manage change in their organizations. More than ever before, customers will have the opportunity to share their own experiences, as well as interact firsthand with SAP experts on advanced topics like SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, SAP Fiori, predictive analytics, SAP Lumira (if you’re not sure what this is, try the free trial), and social business. The analytics and cloud tracks have been expanded for the event and include presentations from SAP’s own Timo Elliott, Innovation Evangelist SAP, and Sven Denecken, Vice President Strategy Cloud Solutions SAP. “We have brought in a high level of expertise for the event, including customers relating their experiences and SAP experts,” says Dale.

The venue for this year’s conference is the ICC Birmingham, located in the heart of the UK and conveniently accessible by motorway, rail, or Birmingham’s international airport. The event kicks off on the afternoon of Sunday, November 24, with sessions like the “80 Minute MBA”, the latest survey from the SAP Listens customer satisfaction program, as well as practical sessions with SAP solution experts and developers. Sunday wraps up with a networking reception in the evening.

Sessions on cloud, analytics, HR, and more

Monday starts with plenary sessions, leading up to an afternoon of knowledge-sharing, where you can choose from sessions among 16 tracks of current interest topics, including mobility, analytics, cloud, human resources, payroll, improving your user experience, SAP Active Global Support, and social customer relationship management. Sessions will be given by SAP customers to share their experiences and tips for optimizing SAP in their workplaces, as well as deep dive sessions by SAP experts detailing best practices and presenting technology road maps. During the day, you can unwind with a visit to the exhibition hall, where you will find more information for your next IT project.
