FC Bayern recently teamed up with SAP to help Business Technology Early College High School, or BTECH, a new public high school in Queens, New York.
Opened this year by SAP in collaboration with the New York City Department of Education, Queensborough Community College and the Early College Initiative at the City University of New York, BTECH is a six-year program that gives high school students the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree at no cost to students or their families. BTECH curriculum combines academic excellence with technical aptitude and job training to prepare students for careers in the technology industry.
SAP launched a premium partnership with FC Bayern in August, and the two recently came together as part of SAP’s Month of Service, held each October, to help spruce up BTECH classrooms in time for the inaugural school year. FC Bayern also brought a traditional flavor with a buffet of various Bavarian cuisines for the volunteers. Even Berni wasn’t spared from the painting, but the results were completely worth it in the end.
