HANNOVER — Since its launch in May 2015, the SAP Digital organization has seen brisk demand, with more than 1.3 million unique visitors to SAPStore.com last year and over 10,000 orders.*
The company plans to extend live credit-card transactions globally from 32 countries now to over 100 countries by the end of 2016, SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced at CeBIT, being held in Hannover March 14–18, 2016.
SAP Digital allows anyone to buy and use SAP and third-party solutions simply through a one-click, credit-card purchase. The efforts of SAP Digital are squarely in line with the CeBIT 2016 theme — “d!conomy: join, create, succeed” — which focuses on the digital transformation sweeping across every segment of business and society.
Customers across the globe already benefit from live digital offerings from SAP and partners. They are available online at SAPStore.com and within some actual software offerings (via “in-app” purchase). Through in-app capabilities, customers can seamlessly purchase, upgrade or enable new features without the need to step outside of the product, visit a website or contact a sales rep, for a streamlined customer experience.
“We’re transforming SAP to meet changing customer expectations — and by customers, we mean anyone, including those beyond our traditional user base, from individuals to startups, small and midsize businesses, to teams in large enterprises,” said Jonathan Becher, SAP’s chief digital officer and head of SAP Digital, who will deliver a CeBIT keynote address titled “Digital Transformation: Disrupt or Be Disrupted” on March 16. “We’re delivering a broad range of offerings via the consumer-quality, end-to-end digital experience that business consumers are starting to demand.”

SAP Digital CRM — Simple and Powerful Solution
SAP’s first digitally native solution, SAP Digital CRM (previously called SAP Digital for Customer Engagement), has reached nearly 4,500 orders* since it was launched in May 2015 and was named a 2016 CUSTOMER Magazine Product of the Year Award winner for exceptional innovation. It’s available exclusively at SAPStore.com for purchase for €23 ($29) per user per month or as a free, fully functional 30-day trial.
SAP Digital CRM is helping customers like Pelicano Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting disadvantaged children in Belgium, run simply and digitally. Pelicano, established in 2011, provides financial support to impoverished children ages 3–18.
“We are using SAP Digital CRM to become more efficient and business savvy,” said Christian Hoorne, CEO, Pelicano Foundation. “We used to track activities via paper, e-mail and phone calls. Now we’re able to manage all of our contacts and interactions with sponsors and caregivers digitally with this software. We can also share information within the direction committee in a highly simplified way. SAP Makes It Easier Than Ever for Individuals to Benefit from SAP Lumira
SAP Lumira software, standard edition, is now available for a free, productive 30-day trial on SAPStore.com. After the trial period, customers can upgrade within the application itself to the paid version of the product for a new price of €179 ($185) per user. A new version was launched in November 2015.
