Mark your calendars and book your registration for the UK and Ireland’s biggest SAP event.

The date is fast approaching when the entire SAP community of the UK and Ireland – more than 500 customers, 70 SAP partners, SAP executives, experts, and SAP Mentors – will convene for the annual meeting of the UK & Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG).

The conference, hailed as UKISUG Connect 2016, brings together SAP users from across the spectrum of SAP industries and lines of business to exchange ideas, hear the latest on IT trends and innovations, and learn new ways to optimize the SAP environment in their respective businesses.

“The wealth of expertise that we have from SAP and the partner community provides so much information,” says Craig Dale, CEO, UKISUG. “There’s over 100 hours of education at the event this year. You can immerse yourself in the world of SAP and come out with ideas and thoughts. As one delegate said last year, it’s the go-to conference for SAP users in the UK and Ireland.”

Knowledge: 14 Agenda Streams, 30 Virtual Streams, 100 Hours of Education

There’s something of interest for everyone on the agenda this year. The 14 agenda streams are organized around topics of current interest to the SAP community, including SAP BusinessObjects analytics and reporting, financial excellence, people management and development, payroll, and user experience. The SAP S/4HANA stream is expected to draw strong interest, with a number of customers speaking on their experiences implementing SAP S/4HANA. The digital transformation stream, featuring sessions from partners and customers, will look at how businesses can bring together various technologies to create a disruptive impact in the marketplace. SAP Mentors will be back at the event this year to share their knowledge on topics across the various agenda streams, plus host a deep-dive technical workshop on November 20. Check the complete program to plan your conference experience.

Members of the special interest groups (SIGs) for SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign who attend the event can take advantage of a nice bonus this year. Not only are there two agenda tracks devoted to these SAP solutions, but the members of these SIGs will have their SIG meetings on site – allowing them to attend the conference for free during the times of their SIG meetings. Find out more under SIGs on Site.

If you are looking for industry-specific or specialized information, check the more than 30 virtual streams targeted to select areas of interest, for example: retail, public sector, higher education, or real estate. You can access the virtual streams through the UKISUG Connect 2016 website or the conference app to tailor your selection of sessions to your specific area of interest.

When you are not attending a session, you can make the most of your time by taking a walk through the exhibition floor, featuring more than 70 SAP partners and related businesses. Be sure to visit SAP’s Business Network showcase, along with the SAP Experience Center. Academy Cube will also be in the exhibition area to offer guidance to SAP customers on how to address the impending IT skills gap.

Distinguished Speakers: Dynamic and Inspirational

Delegates attending this year’s conference can look forward to a fresh format for keynote presentations. Hala Zeine, senior vice president of Portfolio and Commercialization Strategy at SAP, will lead off the keynotes with a dynamic whiteboard session, taking delegates through trends and innovations in the digital space, and showing how SAP is proactively shaping its strategy to meet the future needs of its customers.

Philip Adams, chairman of UKISUG, will bring delegates up to date with an organizational perspective on UKISUG, which has just completed phase one of its own digital transformation aimed at driving a personalized service to its members.

Renowned motivational speaker Will Kintish will speak in the Tuesday morning keynote on the topic of networking, thereby providing a personal takeaway for conference delegates. As one of the leading authorities on networking in the UK, Kintish will tell delegates how they can improve their networking skills and make the most of their opportunities to connect with others.

Networking: Expand Your Contacts and Your Horizons

Along with an in-depth educational offering, the annual UKISUG conference also provides boundless opportunities for networking and engagement in workshops targeted to specific project requirements. Social events kick off on Sunday with an evening networking session to bring people together for food, drink, and conversation – setting the tone for a proper start on Monday morning. A special Executive Breakfast on Monday morning is available for senior executives of SAP large enterprise customers.

Unparalleled and back by popular demand: SUGfest will set the stage on Monday evening for informal networking and fun across varied entertainment venues brought together under one roof. Delegates can wander, explore, and meet up at Manford’s Comedy Club, the Tapas Bar, the Main Stage, the Casino, and Buskers Corner.
