LAS VEGAS — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that actor, producer, author and Parkinson’s research champion Michael J. Fox will provide this year’s SuccessConnect 2018 keynote focusing on how to successfully pursue a goal — no matter how big or small.
This year’s conference, taking place September 11-13 at the ARIA Resort & Casino, will bring together business leaders and HR professionals to explore innovative digital HR technologies and strategies that can help build intelligent enterprises. Fox’s keynote will be one of more than 100 sessions providing insights and inspiration to thousands of attendees.
Fox’s keynote will take place during the closing general session from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 13.
From acting on the big screen to leading a foundation to find a cure for Parkinson’s, Fox looks at life’s challenges through a unique lens of optimism and humor. He sees life as an endless series of opportunities and chooses to face adversity, including Parkinson’s disease, with acceptance rather than expectation. He will inspire attendees to “become the solution you seek,” as he says, ready to tackle the next challenge at work and at home.
“As the audience joining us for SuccessConnect continues to grow, we’re always looking at what they can walk away from the event with,” SAP SuccessFactors President Greg Tomb said. “Obviously we want them to understand how SAP SuccessFactors solutions can help them deliver business value and improve the employee experience. We also want to create a sense of community and add a bit of entertainment and motivation. Michael J. Fox continues to face the world with optimism, acting and directing as well as running the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s drug development in the world. People and companies around the world are dealing with the incredibly fast pace of change today, and I look forward to the insights Michael will share based on his experiences.”
In addition to Fox’s keynote, SuccessConnect will feature SAP experts, partners and customers hosting breakout sessions focusing on topics such as increasing employee engagement and advancing workforce agility in the digital age. Networking and conversations will focus on current strategies, ongoing improvements and creating future successes. These discussions are designed to inspire HR leaders to take on challenges with a refreshed understanding of what is needed to take their organization to the next level. HR professionals will come away with a fresh perspective on using technology to create value throughout their organization. They will leave well equipped to adopt innovative HCM solutions that help turn purpose into performance — maximizing every individual employee’s potential and keeping people at the heart of the company.
