WALLDORF — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced it has been named to the Constellation ShortList™ for Cloud-Based Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Platforms.
Constellation Research reviewed more than 25 cloud-based BI and analytics solutions, and evaluated them based on industry feedback across customers and partners, market share, and internal research. The SAP Analytics Cloud solution’s inclusion to the list was based on its growing customer adoption and multi-cloud support options, as well as its planning, advanced augmented analytics and optional digital boardroom capabilities.
According to Constellation Research, by 2020 enterprises will access 60 percent of their mission-critical through external sources, such as software-as-a-service applications on cloud-based sources. Industry firms recognize SAP Analytics Cloud as a trusted solution for organizations looking to take advantage of cloud-based management tools for financial reporting and analysis.
“I’ve been following the development of SAP Analytics Cloud for more than three years and have seen steady progress in the platform’s depth and breadth of capabilities,” said Doug Henschen, Constellation Research vice president and principal analyst. “At SAPPHIRE NOW in 2018, SAP announced that the product is now an included component of SAP S/4HANA, the new SAP C/4HANA CRM offerings and SAP SuccessFactors solutions. This was a vote of confidence and statement of commitment to SAP Analytics Cloud, and, together with growing adoption, it convinced me that it was time to add SAP Analytics Cloud to our Constellation ShortList for Cloud-Based Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms.”
