SAP is proud to announce support of The Hispanic Promise in alignment with both our purpose to help the world run better and improve people’s lives as well as our diversity and inclusion goals.
This first-of-its-kind pledge was created by Hispanic organizations and the We Are All Human Foundation to foster engagement with the business community, advance and empower Hispanics, and call on business leaders to hire, promote, retain, and celebrate Hispanics as employees, customers, and citizens.
We recognize the contributions of the Hispanic community across all areas of healthcare, art, entertainment, military service, entrepreneurship, STEM, and beyond, and we are excited to work with the We Are All Human Foundation to celebrate individuals who are making a difference in their communities and across the country.
SAP aims to increase the number of Hispanic employees across our company to better reflect the U.S. population, increase Hispanic representation in all levels and all functions at our company, and assess the sentiment of Hispanics at our company.
The Latinos@SAP employee network group provides a framework to positively influence and impact the future of SAP by including Hispanic employees in the process of recruiting, retention, mentorship, and upward mobility. Latinos@SAP promotes inclusion as well as social and cultural awareness in alignment with SAP’s purpose and embraces all forms of diversity.
As organizations experience more innovation and digitization than ever before, they must be prepared to face new challenges. This shift provides leaders of diverse backgrounds with an opportunity to leverage their differences to provide unique and inventive insights as these challenges arise.
Join us next week at SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando to learn more. On Thursday, May 9, we will host a panel, “Diversity in the C-Suite: Latino CxOs Disrupt in the Experience Economy,” where you can hear directly from Latino CxOs of top brands who are breaking barriers on multiple fronts and inspiring others in the workplace. This session will be moderated by Claudia Romo Edelman, an advocate for equity, inclusion, and representation, and special advisor to the United Nations.
