Newsbyte

WALLDORF — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced it was named a leader by Gartner in its “Magic Quadrant for Transportation Systems”* and its “Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems.”**

The evaluations looked at the SAP Transportation Management and SAP Extended Warehouse Management applications to determine the positioning in the leaders quadrant in both reports.

“We build digital supply chain solutions to help our customers quickly sense, understand and act on ever-shifting demand signals,” said Hala Zeine, president, SAP Digital Supply Chain, SAP. “We believe this latest positioning as a leader is a wonderful validation of our relentless commitment to helping our customers deliver the dream of a delightful experience every time.”

In its “Warehouse Management Systems, Global Market 2018–2023”*** report, industry analyst firm ARC Advisory Group ranked SAP among the largest suppliers of warehouse management software. The report attributes the market-share growth of SAP Extended Warehouse Management in part to its advanced functionality, including its embedded material flow controller (MFC). ARC also recognizes that the solution road map for SAP Extended Warehouse Management includes enhancements such as Kanban and JIT call integrations, additional analytics from the SAP HANA platform, MFC enhancements and robotics integration capabilities.
