TOKYO — SAP Ariba Live, the premier global procurement conference, will launch its Asia-Pacific-Japan tour with SAP Ariba Live in Tokyo set to take place July 23 at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced today.
After welcoming thousands of attendees at SAP Ariba Live in Austin, Texas, and Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year, the company will bring together hundreds more for Japan’s largest procurement conference before heading to Singapore, August 21, and Sydney, September 10.
SAP Ariba Live in Tokyo will host a community of buyers, suppliers and partners to discuss the latest technology, innovation and market trends impacting business strategies for moving from cost savings to intelligent spend management. The event will feature insightful keynote speakers, including:
Takanori Sakaguchi: “A Better Society Guided by Procurement and Purchasing”
Sakaguchi, an influential thought leader in Japan and Future Procurement Laboratory management consultant, will discuss the history of challenges procurement and purchasing operations have faced. Other topics will include creating value in the era of renewal and the role procurement leaders should play in achieving a sustainable society.
Naoki Okamura: “Creating Value at Astellas Pharma”
Okamura, Astellas Pharma Inc. representative director and executive vice president, will discuss the pursuit of efficient operations and optimal cost structures globally.
