A 25-Percent Incentive to Replace Old ERP Software

March 5, 2009 by admin

Many SMEs work with outdated, heterogeneous IT system landscapes that contain flawed master data, integration gaps, and business processes without end-to-end support. The resulting lack of transparency often leads to poor decision-making. SAP solutions for small businesses and midsize companies are here to help, providing transparent business processes along the entire supply chain, uniform master data, and company-wide controlling.

Steeb’s “scrapping bonus” gives such companies a financial incentive to replace their obsolete IT landscapes with an integrated SAP system, promising those that purchase new SAP software a 25-percent credit on the price of their old ERP licenses. Companies need only submit the invoice for their legacy software to obtain the discount.

Steeb has set aside €1 million to provide this incentive to SMEs in Germany. The offer is good from the start of the CeBIT trade show on March 3 until the funds are depleted, or until September 30, 2009.

With over 1,000 customers in the SME sector, Steeb Anwendungssysteme is one of Germany’s leading providers of SAP solutions. The company is a full SAP subsidiary headquartered in Abstatt, Germany, where its over 240 employees support its customers with preconfigured package offerings and extensive services.
