Johannesburg — SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced it has been named the overall market share leader in the worldwide enterprise resource planning (ERP) market. According to the 24 April 2012 report issued by Gartner: “Market Share Analysis: ERP Software, Worldwide, 2011”, SAP ranks number one, with 25.5% share of the worldwide market based on revenue for 2011, reflecting a 13.2% growth from 2010.
