Saphila 2017 Set to Reimagine Infinite Possibilities

The African SAP User Group (AFSUG) has announced that its biennial conference for SAP users, Saphila, will take place at Sun City on 5 and 6 June 2017.

Touted as “ICT’s don’t-miss conference of 2017”, Saphila 2017 creates a platform for SAP users to connect, create and collaborate, through sharing knowledge about innovation, implementation and service delivery.

Delegates attending gain access to a world of first-class contacts and customers, including CIOs, CEOs, management level IT users, SAP end users, partners and consultants, and are guaranteed to get up close and personal with nearly 1,000 potential customers and future business partners.

“AFSUG’s and SAP’s commitment to rethink, reassess and reimagine business for the digital economy, drives their search for what is possible,” says Reg Barry, AFSUG board member and Saphila 2017 chairman.

“We again chose Sun City as our venue as it has recently completed a rebuild and refurbishment project to the value of R1 billion. With an all-new super-sophisticated design and décor that begins at the front door, delegates will experience the very latest in world-class conferencing throughout the many new rooms and amenities that enhance the revamped and reimagined venue. The perfect space to reimagine the way to do business,” Barry adds.

Highlights this year will be keynote presentations and the dedicated space to discover new products and take part in solution demonstrations by both sponsors and exhibitors.

“Our focus remains on quality content that encourages a positive shift in business in order to add economic value. Networking with peers forms part of this too, which is why we have created numerous breakout sessions for CXOs, SAP COE managers, SAP users, technical specialist and business representatives to get together and discuss issues and ideas,” says Barry.

In recent years, SAP has made strides in transforming from traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP) to become “The Cloud Company powered by HANA (high-performance analytic appliance)”.  Adding intelligent ERP to its latest offering, the conference content will cater for all requirements in applications, analytics, cloud, mobile, and database and data management.

Delegates need to register for Saphila and pay a registration fee. Discounts are offered to members of AFSUG. More information about packages available and the Saphila exhibition and conference is available at http://saphila2017.com/

The AFSUG provides a forum for SAP customers to share information and experiences, accelerate implementation of successful business solutions and influence SAP Africa and SAP Aktiengesellschaft’s (AG) local and global directions.
