East Africa’s information and communication technology executives will converge in Kenya next week for the annual edition of its annual East Africa Chief Information Officers (CIO) Summit.
International Data Corporation (IDC) will host the fourth edition of the event in Nairobi under theme, “Enabling Dynamic Change for the Digital Era.”
“IDC’s CIO Summit Series has been at the forefront of ICT thought leadership across the Middle East and Africa since its inception in 2008, and the 2017 edition for East Africa will once again leverage IDC’s expertise as the leading global ICT research and advisory services firm,” said Jyoti Lalchandani, IDC’s group vice president and regional manager director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.
“As such, we will be convening the sector’s key stakeholders to discuss the pertinent ICT issues that are shaping the industry today and increasingly becoming the critical business differentiators of tomorrow.”
The summit will outline where CIOs’ IT investment priorities should lie over the coming years and explain what measures they should be weighing up in order to thrive in the digital era, with respected thought leaders examining the opportunities that technological advances are creating for businesses to sharpen their competitive edge.
IDC’s valued partners for the East Africa CIO Summit 2017 include Trend Micro, Westcon, Sage, SAP, IBM, Internet Solutions, Mimecast, and AGC.
