SAP wins big at the 2017 Brandon Hall Awards, dubbed the “Academy Awards of the human capital management industry.”
When it comes to awarding extraordinary achievement in human capital management (HCM), you can’t get much bigger than the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards. The awards program is a prestigious awards designation in the industry — so prestigious, in fact, that it is often called the “Academy Awards” by learning, talent, and business executives.
The competition for these awards is fierce, with names like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, IBM, HP, and Cisco appearing in many categories. And SAP did not nab just one but 26 of these coveted trophies. The SAP Talent Acquisition & Employment Branding group won 10 awards and SAP Learning won 11 awards.
Notable wins include the Gold award for “Best Recruitment Marketing & Employer Branding Program” and the Silver award for “Best EVP,” both based on the incredible work of the Employer Branding team to create a new, humanized employee value proposition. Another Gold award went to the “Sales Excellence – Best Unique or Innovative Sales Training Program” for the blended learning solution designed to boost the sales skills and competencies of SAP Inside Sales colleagues, and a Silver award for “SAP Innovation Day – Best Unique or Innovative Learning Program” for SAP’s 24-hour virtual training event.
The SAP Social Sabbatical program won Gold in the new HCM Citizenship category, established to recognize organizations that are at the forefront of social change. SAP Social Sabbatical is a corporate social responsibility program designed to both leverage and develop talent at SAP and help mission-driven organizations focused on bridging the digital divide.
