Global management consultancy Accenture has held a SAP Intelligent Enterprise client event in South Africa to consolidate the launch to its SAP enterprise solution myConcerto. The solution has proven its popularity in South Africa and is already employed by over 60 clients in the country.
The new SAP-based platform is designed with the objective of facilitating innovation, which has been Accenture’s goal in the South African market in recent years. As the economy has struggled, the firm has repeatedly emphasised the need for innovation to rejuvenate the economy and stimulate growth.
Accenture has made a number of investments to this end, and myConcerto is the latest one that allows its clients to better harmonise their business operations. The tool is equipped with a number of programmed solutions that allow for the coordination of various operations and processes across an organisation.
The data analytics architecture of the platform is informed by Accenture’s practices in the domain, as is the design function of myConcerto. The platform is highly flexible, and can be tailored to solve specific challenges that arise in organisational operations.
Detection and diagnosis of these challenges is also automated under myConcerto, given that it is equipped with real-time identification of blockages and system obstacles. The solution is housed in the SAP Cloud Platform, leverages the SAP Leonardo digital innovation system and includes SAP Model Company Services.
Commenting on the launch, Christine Tandy, Managing Director at Accenture Africa and SAP Business Lead said, “The Intelligent Enterprise event was an affirmation of SAP and Accenture’s client-focused partnership. At the same time, the launch of myConcerto also addressed the immense value South Africa can unlock with the power of digital over the coming years.”
“myConcerto is more than just a tool – it’s a platform. “It’s capable of bringing together and enhancing the best of Accenture’s capabilities across strategy, technology, operations, digital and consulting. That combination acts as a major business and outcomes accelerator for clients – right from business case through to delivery,” she added.
